Four Trimbach Riesling Current Releases (and four other varietals) Reviewed

Trimbach Riesling

The home of Trimbach Riesling

Trimbach is one of the largest wine producers in Alsace, France. Alsatian winegrowers since 1626, Trimbach’s estate vineyards now lie around the village of Ribeauvillé. Trimbach also sources grapes from others in the region to create its broad portfolio of wine. Trimbach Riesling Clos St. Hune is the flagship wine and 100% estate.

Clos St. Hune is a small parcel, just over 4 acres. It’s been held by Trimbach for 200 years. It produces a rich and focused dry Riesling which ages well. Trimbach holds the wine in bottle for 5 years before releasing it, ensuring  consumers only experience it when it is reaching its best.

Below are my reviews of eight Trimbach current releases, including the tremendous 2009 Trimbach Riesling Clos St. Hune.
